Region selector - channel conflicts

Some media sites in different countries use the same service delivery companies, this means that you have to choose between them and only one choice can be active at a time.

Fortunately it does not effect many services. The sites that have this conflict are as follows:

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Group 1
CBS & Fox – United States
SBS – Australia
CBC & Global TV – Canada
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Group 2
Showtime (Sho) , Lifetime, Smithsonian Channel - United States
STV & Demand5 – Great Britain
TEN & Seven, Nine/JumpIn – Australia
TVNZ - New Zealand
TG4 & RTE – Ireland
CityTV – Canada
--------------------------------------------------------------------

This means that you can only activate one option from each group, so for example, in group 1, if you chose to activate SBS (AUS) you would not be able to access either CBS & Fox (USA) or CBC (CAN).

There is nothing much we can do to get around this limitation, however, it is easy to choose your options using our Region Selector

For example, if you want to activate SBS (AUS), you need to go into the Region Selector, click on View all products & regions and in Option Group 1, select SBS. Once confirmed, click on 'Click to Update' button to update your preference.

This will automatically disable the other channels that are in the same Option Group, ie in this case CBS, FOX , CBC and Global TV will be disabled.

We appreciate that this can be somewhat confusing, so if you would like us to make sure your settings are correct, simply open a support ticket and let us know which channels you want to watch and we can do this for you.
