How to check the software version on your iOS device

With updates coming to iOS on a regular basis, there may be times where it would be best for you to confirm the version of iOS you're currently on. 

This can be helpful in resolving any problems in the event that any app causes issues with your device.

On an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

To find the iOS version installed on your device, please follow the steps below:

1. Open  Settings 

2. Go to  General 

3. Go to  About.

In the following screen, scroll down until you see  Version.

This will show you the version of iOS you're currently using.
